Balance Activ Bacterial Vaginosis Treatment Gel is a drug-free vaginal gel intended to relieve BV symptoms by restoring normal vaginal pH. The manufacturer states that the formula contains purified water, propylene glycol, lactic acid, methylhydroxypropyl cellulose, sodium lactate and glycogen at pH 3.8. For BV symptom relief, the manufacturer directs one tube daily for 7 days, preferably at bedtime.
